Guest services in Morocco: hostesses who keep registration, welcome and guest flow precise. Based in Tangier.
Our event hostesses are based in Tangier and work across northern Morocco. Wevent draws on a local network of trained hostesses and hosts who can be mobilised for events in the city on the Strait and around it.
Wevent coordinates welcome and event staffing in Tangier, including protocol and the standard of service on congresses, seminars, forums and corporate events.
Each profile is selected on presentation, ease with people, French, Arabic and English, service sense and protocol. Teams are briefed on Moroccan and international codes so the welcome fits the audience in the room.
Congresses, trade shows, international forums: the teams run welcome in Tangier and across northern Morocco.
Hosts and hostesses for events, exhibitions and company gatherings.
Hosts who keep a stand, a welcome point or a programme moment moving without losing the brief.
Staffing written for a specific occasion, including protocol and celebrations.
Each event asks something different of the welcome. A seminar of 80 at Hilton Tangier Al Houara is not the same device as an official inauguration with VIP protocol at Hilton City Center. The team is sized to the nature, the scale and the audience.
Scopes include standard welcome (direction, information), premium welcome (digital registration, personalised badges, welcome kit), VIP welcome (individual escort into the room) and exhibition welcome (stand animation, lead qualification). Professional welcome practice, as set out by UNIMEV, is the reference we work from.
For each mission we write a brief with your team: floor plan, run of show, VIP list, specific procedures, key messages and safety instructions. The whole welcome team receives it in a pre-event meeting.
Work held to the standard our clients expect. From immersive scenography to controlled logistics, events delivered by Wevent in Morocco.
The service is only as good as the people on it. The pool is more than 200 hostesses and hosts across Tangier, recruited on presentation, verified languages, confirmed event experience and the ability to handle an unplanned moment without losing the floor.
A new profile joins after a face-to-face interview, a practical exercise and a reference check. Those retained then take an initial course on event welcome: posture, non-verbal communication, flow and protocol.
Being based in Tangier, and knowing the city on the Strait, means we can mobilise a local team that already knows the venues. For international events we compose multilingual teams from that network, using staffing practice described by Event Manager Blog.
If you are precise on the floor and interested in events, Wevent regularly recruits hostesses and hosts for the Tangier team. Assignments run in Tangier and across northern Morocco.
Training is provided. Assignments cover congresses, exhibitions, forums and product launches.

Wevent is based in Tangier and produces corporate events across northern Morocco.
Hostesses cover a defined set of tasks: welcoming and directing guests, running the registration desk (badge, digital check-in), handing out documents, VIP escort, cloakroom and participant flow.
On exhibitions they can also animate a stand, qualify contacts and hand over sales material. Each mission is set in a brief beforehand, in line with ILEA practice.
Yes. Most of the team works in French and Arabic (Darija and Modern Standard Arabic). A large number also speak English fluently, and we have profiles in Spanish, German or Italian for international events.
When the team is built, language profiles are matched to the expected audience. For an international congress with foreign delegations, the team is composed accordingly.
We recommend 2 to 3 weeks to build the right team. That window is used to select profiles, run the briefing and coordinate logistics (dress, transport, schedule).
For urgent requests we can mobilise a team in 48 to 72 hours from qualified hostesses based in Tangier, the city on the Strait. The briefing stays the priority, even on a short lead time.
By default they wear a black professional outfit. The dress can be aligned to brand colours, with personalised accessories (scarves, brooches, badges), or a uniform can be made for larger events.
For themed events or product launches we work with stylists so the outfit sits in the scenography and carries the visual identity.
Staffing depends on format, duration and headcount. As a rule we plan 1 hostess for 50 to 80 guests on a standard welcome, and 1 for 30 guests when check-in is heavier (named registration, badge, participant kit).
A congress of 500 with registration, VIP welcome and wayfinding usually needs a team of 8 to 12 hostesses. The recommendation is always adjusted to the run of show.
